Grilled Shrimp Kabobs

1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup apricot preserves
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1 1/2 pounds large uncooked shrimp, peeled and deveined

Combine all ingredients except shrimp. Set aside half of this marinade to use as a serving sauce. Place shrimp on skewers. Brush with marinade. Grill until shrimp turns pink. Serve with reserved sauce.
