2 cups fresh cranberries
2 limes
2 tablespoons simple syrup
3 cups vodka, Skyy recommended

Place 6 cranberries in freezer. With a rind- or vegetable-peeler, remove rind of 1 lime, keeping rind intact as much as possible. Place rind in bottom of a 1-liter clear glass bottle. Add simple syrup. With a wooden skewer, poke 6 to 8 holes in each of the remaining cranberries; place in bottle. Top with vodka. Seal bottle; shake lightly. Place upright in freezer for 4 to 6 days for best flavor and color. Prior to serving, remove rind from remaining lime, cutting it into 6 slivers. Coat lime slivers with sugar. Serve in 6 (4-ounce) martini glasses. Garnish each glass with a frozen cranberry and sugared lime rind.
